About

This blog features links and information about books and authors. It is maintained by Malcolm R. Campbell, author of three fantasy novels (“Sarabande,” “Garden of Heaven: an Odyssey,” and “The Sun Singer”) and the comedy/satire “Jock Stewart and the Missing Sea of Fire.”

Weblog Policy: Every attempt is made here to post material within the legal scope of “fair use,” meaning no more words than might be used in a review, or in a quote in an essay or an editorial. The intention here is that readers will click on the links and read the original publications or websites.

Likewise, the photographs and graphics are those either being used by an author, newspaper, publisher or other site to promote itself and/or that come from Wikipedia, Flickr or other sites with a Creative Commons approach. These usually have a link back to their sources. As an author, I try to avoid the “sharing” of other people’s work in a way that—while common on sites such as Facebook—is in fact a copyright violation.

  1. Hi Malcolm-

Thanks for the ping on the guest post I uploaded at my blog by Helen Ginger.

Anytime you want to ping a post off my blog, feel free. Today’s post is every bit as good as Helen’s. It’s on author website design and renovation, and includes a social media manual giveaway at http://stephaniebarko.com/2011/08/23/author-website-essentials.

I am working very hard to ease my way into Technorati’s Top 100 Book Blogs and you are a real help to me with your pinging. Thanks for sharing your following with me, whatever the #s.
